The Devotion Update is a free update for Risk of Rain 2. It introduces a new stage, Verdant Falls, as well as two new Artifacts and a new skin for Mercenary.[1] The Devotion Update is the first major free content update since the release of the Anniversary Update.

- Added 2 Artifacts
- New Artifact: Artifact of Devotion (Replaces Drones with Lemurian Eggs activated by sacrificing items)
- New Artifact: Artifact of Delusion (Closes all opened Chests after the teleporter event, allowing them to be re-opened for more items if the previous item to come from the chest is correctly identified)
- Added 1 Survivor Skin
- The Prisoner skin for Mercenary
