Col. Droneman duplication

Each time you use engineer's turrets with this item it will make a new Col. Droneman. New Col. Dronemans made through this way will not appear in the next stage, meaning you will have to do this process over again if you want to make multiple Dronemans. This likely happens because of turrets inheriting items. Putting this here as I do not know how to edit the page to include this.(p.s it`s already done)

On-hit Effects

Added section dictating that the additional gun added by SDP is unaffected by Engi's shared item pool with the rest of his turrets, and cannot generate on-hit or on-kill effects.

I noticed in a run recently that with SDP on my turrets, plasma shrimp was proccing from the chaingun, so I downloaded a cheat tool mod to run some experiments. I spawned an Aurelionite with a stack of 10 Planula, disabled its AI, and placed the stationary turrets just out of primary attack range with a combination of SDP and other various items. Long story short, I was able to get most on-hit effects to proc from it, and it makes a great addition to a proc-focused build as a result.

  • Plasma Shrimp, Symbiotic Scorpion, Chronobauble, Brilliant Behemoth, Leeching Seed, elite equipment, and other items with a 100% on-hit effect chance were triggered by both the chaingun and missiles.
  • 5 Purity: chaingun cooldown was not reduced, but the missile procs all but disappeared.
  • Soldier's syringes had no effect on the chaingun.
  • 10 Lens-Maker's Glasses: guaranteed critical hit chance for both the chaingun and missiles.
  • 1 Charged Perforator + 10 57 leaf clovers resulted in consistent lightning procs from both the missiles and chaingun.
  • Similarly, when the turret's primary weapon is in range, it also consistently caused the missile to proc.
  • Pocket ICBM didn't increase the number of missiles launched.
  • AtG Missiles can proc the SDP missiles and vice versa. Not particularly surprising at this point, but entertaining.
  • Kjaro's/Runald's/Singularity bands did not seem to proc from the missiles.

I didn't think to test the ricochet effect, but I may try that later.

Alpha Constructs?

Does this impact the alpha constructs created by Defense Nucleus?

Col. Droneman article?

There is almost no information on what Droneman actually is - that should be fleshed out in this article and/or be a separate article

Spare Drone Parts Easter Egg

While I'm not entirely sure if Spare Drone Parts caused this, both the concept and effects of it seem like the only reasonable cause. On a recent run, Benthic Bloom gave my friend 5 Spare Drone Parts. On the stage after he acquired them, one of his Healing Drones grew a robotic arm. This didn't seem to affect it's combat ability in any way, and disappeared after he went to the next stage. He wasn't playing modded at the time, and the coloration and exposed joints of the arm clearly show that it was meant to be attached to a drone. Plus, the pistol it's holding seems to be unique to it. Since this is a secondhand account, I'm not totally sure if Spare Drone Parts was the actual cause, but considering that the lore for Spare Drone Parts is about a technician who has a talent for gluing random weaponry to drones, it certainly fits. Any other examples of this visual change would be appreciated!

An activated Healing Drone is shown, with the Captain's Defensive Microbots circling it. It is under the effect of Spare Drone Parts, which seems to have affected it beyond the item's usual aesthetic changes; a robotic arm holding a pistol has extended from the body of the drone.
Sadly, the devotion of Healing Drones to the Hippocratic Oath means they normally cannot even use self-defense against the planet's inhabitants. This one apparently wasn't paying attention in medical school.

Should the fact that the chain gun spins wildly on Gunner drones be in Notes?

That feels like something that would be in the trivia section.
